Swansea to Catherine Hill Bay Return

Short notice paddle to make the most of conditions on Saturday 22 August and explore the sea caves between Swansea and Catherine Hill Bay.

Meet at Reids Reserve on the south side of the Swansea Channel at 9:00am to be on the water by 9:30am.

The trip is a total of around 20km with a break half way at Catherine Hill Bay for a late morning tea / early lunch.

We will follow the coast line down and see if we can get into some of the slots and caves on the way down.  Please bring a helmet for the caves.

Paddlers should be Grade 2 or above and be able to paddle at an average of around 5-6 km/h.  Kayaks to normal club standards with deck lines, spray decks etc.
