Perseids Meteor Shower Viewing Kayak Camping

This kayak camping trip will be a remote-area, self-supported trip to an undisclosed location on Lake Macquarie to view the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower.

We're planning to camp somewhere with a very dark & clear sky to get a better view of the meteor shower very early in the morning.

The campsite will be a remote site (not car -based) on Lake Macquarie. The site will selected on the day depending on group numbers and availability. The group size IS LIMITED so get your name down early if you're definitely keen to come.

Probably paddling +/- 20kms on each day.

Open to all grades.

launching Saturday morning (there may be an option to include the Friday night as well), returning Sunday mid-afternoon
