I keep seeing a sign at The Wharf Cafe at Quarantine Beach "come for breakfast". What an excellent idea! Well we won't get there till about 9:30 so let's call it brunch.
We'll head off from Tunks Park. I'm pretty sure there won't be school sport on Easter Saturday, so parking should be easy. Get there whenever you like but be kitted up ready for a briefing at 8:00 and departure immediately after. The round trip will be a bit less than 20km. Should be back at Tunks Park about lunchtime.
It's a long way out but the wind forecast is 15kn southerly. Enough to be interesting. The tide is a high at 10:30 so will be against us on the way out and the way back. Character building!
This is a paddle for grade 2 and 3 paddlers. If you're grade 1 and have some experience in a bit of wind then talk to me: tonym95[at]gmail.com
