South Coast Christmas BBQ and Paddle

What is more Australian than a snag on the BBQ? Come out to celebrate the Christmas season at Batemans Bay with all your paddling mates.

Meet at Korners Park at 8:00 am for a scenic paddle around the local area. Exact destination will depend on the weather, but options are Square Head, Snapper Island, the Tollgate Islands or Big Island up the Clyde River if the weather is not conducive to ocean paddling. If you are currently on the injured list and not paddling, you are still welcome to attend the BBQ. We should be back from the paddle by noon. Korners Park has toilets, water, parking and electric BBQ’s.

We will paddle for about three hours then return to Korners Park for a BBQ lunch. If you have special food requirements (e.g. vegan, etc/) bring something to BBQ, otherwise there will be meat on the BBQ, some salads and Christmas cake!

You are welcome to bring a plate of something to share, also bring whatever you want to drink, as well as eating and drinking utensils, and, of course, your kayak equipped for paddling on the ocean!
