Shellharbour to Killalea Beach: Sea Guide Assessment

We will be launching from Little Park at Shellharbour and paddling south to Bass Point, Bushranger Bay, Maloneys Bay and Killalea Beach.   This is a lovely part of the coast if you have not paddled here before.   

This trip is for a sea guide assessment so you will be asked to participate in some scenarios including landing and launching from a surf beach.  

Dress for immersion, bring a helmet, food and water accessible from the kayak, lunch and any other equipment you require for a day on the water.  

Open to strong grade 2 paddlers.  Kayaks equipped to grade 2.

Little Park has water, toilets, adequate parking and an easy launch off a small beach. 

Be ready for a briefing between 9:30 and 10:00 am.
