Lake Macquarie - Pulbah Island

Social paddle (10am start) on Lake Macquarie from Pelican Foreshore around Pulbah Island.  Distance around 17km.  Enjoy a crystal clear winter's day on Lake Macquarie, launching in Swansea Channel and paddling across the lake and around Pulbah Island nature reserve.  Catch up with friends along the way and at a rest stop on the island.  Return to Pelican between 1-2pm.

This is an enclosed sea paddle and open to all club members with sea kayaks.  Bring water and food to eat along the way.  A wind proof and / or warm top would be useful to keep warm in the westerlies that are common at this time of year.
