R&R Saturday - Plain Sailing

An event for those who want to practice their sailing prowess or perhaps pick up a tip or two to build confidence in their kayak under sail.

You will need kayak to grade two standards with a sail rig fitted.

The trip location will be largely weather dependant on the day but it’ll be somewhere in the Port Stephens area.

There may be a car shuffle involved so if you can take two boats on your car, that’ll be a bonus.

We may even practice a capsize / rescue or two for those who have never experienced recovering with the sail rig involved.
